Midwestern State senior forward Max Gonzales scored in his second consecutive match to fuel the Mustangs' defeat of No. 11-ranked and conference champion St. Mary's. Gonzales' goal gave MSU a commanding 3-1 lead and helped spoil the Rattlers' bid for an unbeaten run through league play. Gonzales' also helped the Mustangs to their third straight win entering the LSC tournament.

West Texas A&M junior defender Zakaria Daaou fueled a shutout and netted the game-winning goal against St. Edward's in the regular season finale to secure the No. 4 seed in the LSC tournament. With the win, the Buffs also earned the right to host a quarterfinal match. Daaou scored in 35th minute and also helped the Buffs extend their unbeaten streak to five games and end the Hilltoppers' five-game unbeaten streak.

Benjamin Aviles made 10 saves to shut out UT Tyler in the regular season finale. The 10 stops in the scoreless draw ties for a single-game high in the LSC this season. He made seven saves in the first half. Aviles leads the conference with 80 saves and is tied for second with five shutouts.
