Men's soccer finished with a 2-4-1 record to clinch the #4 seed in the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament, marking the first appearance in program history.

Season Recap:

Sul Ross began their season with a 1-0 win at Howard Payne on February 26 before a 0-0 draw at home on March 1 against Mary Hardin-Baylor.

The early momentum took a pause as the Lobos dropped their next two matches. Concordia was able to edge Sul Ross 2-1 on March 5 in Alpine. Hardin-Simmons later took the March 8 matchup by a score of 2-1 at Lobo Field.

Sul Ross was able to grab one of the final three outings to help ensure a conference tourney berth. The win came on March 14 at McMurry, 4-1. On March 20, the Lobos would fall 2-1 again at the hands of Hardin-Simmons. Sul Ross finished their regular season on senior night, losing 2-1 to McMurry.

The Players:
Nana Prempeh led the Lobos with three goals in his sophomore campaign and also had a team-high 15 shots.

Arturo Madrid finished with two goals and an assist on 14 shots with a team-high nine on goal.

Sul Ross enters as a #4 seed in the West Division and will face the East Division #1 seed UT Dallas (4-0-1, 4-0-1 ASC) on April 1 at 8:00 p.m. in Richardson.

The most recent meeting was a 0-0 draw in 2019. UT Dallas leads the all-time series 1-0-1, with the lone win coming at home.
