Alpine, Texas — Sul Ross State University Baseball hosts No. 9 University of Texas at Tyler in a four-game Lone Star Conference series at Kokernot Field. The series begins Thursday, April 9 with a single nine-inning game at 12 p.m., followed by a Friday doubleheader on April 10 with first pitch scheduled for 1 p.m. and game two to follow approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. The series will conclude Saturday at 12 p.m. with a single nine-inning game.

Sul Ross State is coming off a four-game Lone Star Conference series on the road against UT Permian Basin, where the Lobos continued to show offensive production throughout the weekend. Sul Ross found success at the plate in multiple games, including a 13-run performance in the series, with key contributions from Alfonso Lopez and Max Wiggins leading the offense. Despite the results, the Lobos demonstrated resilience and consistency offensively and will look to carry that momentum into this weekend's matchup against No. 9 UT Tyler.
