Lobos Welcome Rams for Four-Game LSC Series

Alpine, Texas — The Sul Ross State University Baseball team returns home to Kokernot Field this weekend to welcome No. 9-ranked San Angelo State University for a four-game Lone Star Conference series in Alpine. The series opens Friday, February 13, with first pitch set for 2:00 PM, followed by a Saturday doubleheader on February 14 at 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM, before concluding Sunday, February 15, at 1:00 PM.

The Lobos enter the weekend after going 1–2 in their Lone Star Conference road series at Lubbock Christian University, highlighted by the program's first LSC win of the season on Saturday in a thrilling 24–22 victory. Sul Ross showcased explosive offensive production throughout the series, stringing together timely hits, aggressive baserunning, and sustained pressure at the plate.

This weekend's matchup presents a strong challenge as the Lobos face one of the top-ranked teams in the region, but Sul Ross looks to build on last weekend's momentum while playing in front of the home crowd at Kokernot Field.
