Camp Information and Registration
Sul Ross State University head football coach John Peace has announced three summer football camps scheduled for June and July.
The first camp will be held Thursday, June 1 at Canutillo High School with camps two and three at Midland Lee and Smithson Valley High Schools Saturday, June 10 and July 29.
"This is the third year Canutillo has hosted one of our summer camps and the second year for Smithson Valley," Pearce said. "We had more than 160 participants at our two camps last year and we hope to build on that with a third camp this summer with the addition of Midland Lee."
Check-in at the June 1 camp is 6 p.m. (Mountain Time Zone) with a three-hour practice session that will run from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Check-in times for the June 10 and July 29 camps are 9:30 a.m. with practice sessions from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Registration fee for all three camps is $25.00.
Camp participation is open to individuals in grades 9-12.
"These are not evaluation camps," said Pearce. "They are geared towards teaching kids the game of football."
