Lobos Hit The Road

ALPINE, Texas – The Sul Ross State University men's basketball team (2-10 Lone Star Conference, 4-13) takes to the road for two games.

SCHEDULE:

Thursday, February 5 – UT Permian Basin (4-8 LSC, 8-12) – 7:30 p.m.
The series is tied at 8-8. The Lobos beat UTPB 67-61 on Nov. 22, their first win in almost 15 years.

The Falcons have five players in double-figures led by Tash Lundy (17.95 points, 8.55 rebounds, .483 FG, .858 FT).

Saturday, February 7 – Angelo State (4-8 LSC, 13-10) - 3:00 p.m.
The Rams lead the series 5-1. The Lobos handed ASU its first loss of the season, 60-47 on Nov. 20.

The Rams are led by Quadir Pettaway (12.75 points, .495 FG, .467 3-PT).

LAST WEEK
It was a milestone victory as Sul Ross State beat Texas A&M International 66-41, Jan. 29. This was the 300^th win at the NCAA level for SRSU

For the Lobos, Antwonne Holmes had 14 points and two steals, Julien Barclay had 13 points and two steals and Christian Nevarez scored 11 points. Camren Roper had 11 points, eight assists, seven rebounds (all defensive) and five steals.

Sul Ross State lost 70-64 to Texas A&M Kingsville, Jan. 31.

For the Lobos, Barclay had 16 points and four steals and Roper had eight assists, six rebounds (all defensive) and six steals.

LSC RANKINGS
Individually, Roper is second in steals (3.12) and eighth in assists (3.82) and rebounding (6.71). Holmes is eighth in steals (1.88).

The Lobos are fifth in steals (8.94).
