Alpine, Texas - Sul Ross State University Women's Basketball hits the road this week for a two-game slate in Grand Junction, Colorado, as the Lobos take part in the Mavericks Thanksgiving Classic. The Lobos open the classic on Friday, November 28, with a 12:00 PM MT matchup against Fort Lewis College. Sul Ross then returns to action on Saturday, November 29, taking on Colorado Mesa University at 5:00 PM MT. The weekend provides a valuable test as the Lobos continue developing their identity for the 2025–26 season under head coach E.J. Lee Smith.
