ODESSA, Texas — It was a game against a future Lone Star Conference opponent.
On Friday night, the Sul Ross State men's basketball team took on the University of Texas-Permian Basin for an exhibition game at the Falcon Dome in front of a crowd of 212 fans.
The Falcons came out of with the victory, 94-51.

Tyler Jackson led the Lobos with 10 points and three rebounds.
Cailean Ables chipped in with seven points, one steal and one block while
Bryson Laird also had seven points.
Bryce Harris finished with six points and
Will Fievre tallied five points.
Sul Ross State grabbed 24 rebounds as
Omar Ibarra led the way with five boards. Jackson and
Jayden Canaba each tallied three rebounds.
Trey Nelson dished out a team-high four assists.
The Lobos shot 9 of 16 from the free throw line.
Myles Amason and Laird combined to go 4 for 4 from the charity stripe.
Sul Ross State also knocked down four 3-pointers, which came from Ables,
Deveraux Minix, Fievre and Laird.
Thirteen different Lobos scored in the contest.
