Lobos Get Set For Long Week

ALPINE, Texas – The Sul Ross State University volleyball team has a busy week with three games in the span of five days.

THIS WEEK:

TUESDAY – SEPT. 29 – At #6 Angelo State (4-0 LSC, 14-1) – 6:00 p.m.
Angelo State is led by Alli Kirkpatrick (2.46 kills per set, .332 hitting percentage). The Rambelles lead the series 2-0.

THURSDAY – Oct. 1 – Texas Woman's (1-3 LSC, 4-10) – 6:00 p.m.
Texas Woman's is led by Mary Grace King (3.43 kills per set) and Alyssa Rojo (5.10 digs per set). The Pioneers lead the series 2-0.

SATURDAY – Oct. 3 – Dallas Baptist (RV) (4-0 LSC, 11-2) – 2:00 p.m.
Dallas Baptist is led by Aizlyn Dewberry (five solo blocks, 48 assist blocks) and Karly Wells (3.76 kills per set). The Patriots lead the series 2-0.

LAST WEEK
Sul Ross State lost 3-0 (25-16, 25-11, 25-23) to Texas A&M Kingsville, Sept. 25 at the Steinke Center.

For Sul Ross State, Antyiahna Lang had eight kills and Mia Espinoza collected nine digs.

Neeyah Stevenson was in double-figures for kills as Sul Ross State lost 3-0 (25-13, 25-19, 27-25) to Texas A&M International, Sept. 26 at the TAMIU Kinesiology and Convocation Building.

For Sul Ross State, Stevenson finished with 10 kills and hit .368.
