Lobos Set Up For Home And Away

ALPINE, Texas – The Sul Ross State University men's soccer team has a pair of Lone Star Conference games this week.

SCHEDULE

Sept. 30 – St. Edward's (0-2 LSC, 1-5-2) - 7:00 p.m.
SEU is led by Misael Rangel and Bartek Zabek who have scored two goals each. The Hilltoppers lead the series 1-0-1.

Oct. 3 – Texas A&M International (0-1-1 LSC, 3-3-2) - 12:00 p.m.
TAMIU is led by Jamie Martinez who has three goals. The Dustdevils lead the series 3-1-1.

RANKINGS
Sul Ross State leads the Lone Star Conference in saves per game (8.29) and total saves (58). Individually, Fernando Hernandez leads in saves per game (7.57) and total saves (53).

At the NCAA DII level, SRSU leads in saves per game while Hernandez is first in saves per game and third in total saves.

LAST WEEK
It was 90 minutes of heart and hustle as the Sul Ross State lost 1-0 to St. Mary's (Texas), Sept. 26 at Lobo Soccer Field.

The Lobos had five shots with one on goal, four corner kicks and were called for 10 fouls. Fernando Hernandez had nine saves.
