Espinoza And Sinclair Join The Lobos

ALPINE, Texas – Crystal Espinoza (El Paso, Texas) and Anayah Sinclair (El Paso, Texas) will take the court for the 2026 Sul Ross State University volleyball team.

Espinoza had a record breaking career at Ysleta High School.  She was a two-time Class 4A Reg 2 selection and as a senior was El Paso Times honorable mention and selected by the Greater El Paso Coaches Association as a VB All-Star.

Espinoza set the season (550) and career (1634) dig records at Ysleta.  She helped the Indians win three District and three Bi-District championships and go 93-50 during her four seasons.

Sinclair had a strong year in 2025 for Western Texas College.  She averaged 2.13 kills and 0.39 blocks per set.  Sinclair had seven double-digit kill matches with a career-high of 14 against Trinidad State (Sept. 12).

Sinclair had a solid career at Eastwood High School.  As  a senior in 2023, she was all-district second team, all-district academic, Academic All-State and played in the Greater El Paso All-Star Game.
