Lobos on the road against Falcons and Rams

Alpine, Texas - Sul Ross State University Women's Basketball heads out on the road this week for a pair of Lone Star Conference matchups, opening the trip on Thursday, Feb. 5, with a 5:15 PM tipoff against UT Permian Basin at the Falcon Dome in Odessa, Texas. The Lobos continue to rely on their defensive pressure in conference play, led by Victoria Aguayo, who ranks among the Lone Star Conference leaders with 73 total steals through 18 games, averaging 4.1 steals per game, while Leslie Mojica sits right behind her with 53 steals and an average of 2.9 steals per game through 18 contests. The road swing wraps up on Saturday, Feb. 7, as Sul Ross travels to San Angelo, Texas, for a 1:00 PM matchup with Angelo State University inside the Junell Center – Stephens Arena, with the Lobos looking to carry their defensive intensity, team chemistry, and continued growth into the weekend as the group competes together and builds momentum through Lone Star Conference play.
