Lobos Picked 16th In Lone Star Conference Poll

ALPINE, Texas – UT Tyler has been picked first in the 2026 Lone Star Conference Preseason Men's Soccer Poll.

The Patriots received 39 first place votes and 849 points, 32 ahead of West Texas A&M. Rounding out the top five was Angelo State (3^rd – 753 points), Oklahoma Christian (4^th – 715 points) and Lubbock Christian (5^th – 665 points).

Sul Ross State was picked 16^th with 101 points.

The Lobos have a new coach in charge in Lacey Middlebrooks. She has a team with good experience with 14 returning players.

The Players to Watch are senior Elizabeth Clemente (four doubles, eight runs, 11 RBI's, .281 BA) and junior Larryn Rooks (16 appearances in the circle).
