Eight Sul Ross State football players recently earned All-Conference honors by the American Southwest Conference.
Offensive lineman Ajani Batts earned first team offense. Batts helped lead the offense to becoming the fourth-best unit in the conference with 4,034 total yards.
Linebacker Ronin Williams was named first team on defense. Williams led the conference with 130 total tackles and 79 solo tackles.
Williams broke the school record for career tackles as he finishes with 279. He also leads all of NCAA Division III in total tackles.
Wide receivers Eddie Sinegal and Austin Ogunmakin were both named third team on offense.
Ogunmakin ranked fifth in the conference with 729 receiving yards. He caught 45 passes while scoring seven touchdowns.
Sinegal appeared in all 10 games as he caught 34 passes for 469 yards with two touchdowns.
Defensive lineman Dayln Dunbar and linebacker Jade Rios earned third team honors on defense.
Dunbar ranked third in the conference with 7.5 sacks. He finished with 38 total tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, one interception and one fumble recovery.
Rios was sixth in the conference with 94 total tackles while he also recorded five tackles for loss, two sacks and forced one fumble.
Wide receiver Vicente Luevano finished fourth in the conference with 774 receiving yards. His 12 touchdowns led the conference.
Luevano broke the single-season school record for touchdown receptions.
Tight end
Isaiah Villarreal earned the Outstanding Sportsman Team of the Year honor. Villarreal caught three passes for 23 yards in nine games played.
