GAME DAY INFORMATION: Alpine Fightin' Bucks vs Fort Stockton Panthers | 9/4/2020

The 0-1 Alpine Fightin' Bucks look to pick up their first win of the season this Friday as Jackson Field plays host to a Week 1 rematch against the Fort Stockton Panthers.

The Panthers defeated Alpine in a close 19-15 clash on August 28 in Fort Stockton.

Kickoff will be at 7:30 on September 4 from Jackson Field.

Alpine ISD and Sul Ross are committed to keeping students, staff, and the community safe by minimizing contact of potential spread of COVID-19. Attendance at all Alpine ISD events will be limited and based on official seating capacity for each venue.


Pre-Sale Ticket Information
  • Home Side (Alpine ISD Fans): 750 home side tickets will be sold. ($4.00 Adult and $2.00 student)
  • Visitor Side (Visiting Fans): 350 tickets will be available for the visiting team. ($4.00 Adult and $2.00 student)
Tickets will be sold at the Alpine ISD Administration Building – 704 W Sul Ross Avenue

Student Section Tickets:
Available at the high school main office for students to purchase
Players, Cheerleaders, Band Members, Trainers, Coaches – limited to 4 tickets per family
  • Monday 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
  • Tuesday and Wednesday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (Closed 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm)

Remaining Tickets to Public:
First come, first serve – limit 2 tickets
  • Thursday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (Closed 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm) OR UNTIL ALL TICKETS ARE SOLD
  • Friday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm OR UNTIL ALL TICKETS ARE SOLD

Ticket Prices:
  • Under age 1 – No ticket needed
  • Ages 1-4 – Free but must have a ticket
  • Students $2.00
  • Adults $4.00

Protocols and Guidelines
  • Gates are tentatively set to open at 6:00 pm, unless otherwise needed to open at a different time.
  • All seating is general admission, in groups no larger than 10.
  • Social distancing guidelines will be enforced.
  • Face coverings are required to be worn by all attendees.
  • No one will be allowed on the field after the game. 
  • No congregating is allowed anywhere on school premises, especially outside the field house or the concession stands.
  • Fans, parents, and spectators will leave immediately after the game is over.
  • The concession stand will sell pre-packaged items only.
  • No outside food or drinks are allowed.
  • All guests must have a ticket and meet the screening criteria at the entrance to attend the game.
  • No Passes Allowed – This includes district, employee badges, other school passes, local senior citizens, etc. A ticket is required for entry to the stadium.
  • Parking: Home is on the West Side of Jackson Field. Visitor is on east Murphy Street and by the SRSU softball field. A map will be made available prior to the game.
  • Family groups are encouraged to arrive together, enter the stadium together, sit together, and leave together. (Law enforcement officials and Alpine ISD staff will assist in maintaining proper social distancing measures.)
  • Students are required to sit in the stands, students in grades 8 and under must sit with their parents. Students will not be allowed to play on the grounds or the SRSU Intramural Field.
  • Once you leave the stadium, you may not re-enter the stadium.
  • Alpine ISD will limit access to essential participants of the activities on the playing areas. 
  • Schools are permitted to prevent any individual who fails the screening criteria from being admitted into school facilities or sites where UIL activities are being conducted until they meet the criteria for re-entry.
  • Changes to the public health situation may necessitate changes to this guidance.
