On the mound, Logan Sarkesian earned the win in relief, tossing 1.1 scoreless innings to help close out the victory.

Head Baseball Coach Caleb Abney - "This is a resilient group of men. That was a big factor for us today. We still have a lot of work to do to get better. But we are not short on fortitude and fight. Now we have to get back to work tomorrow to keep getting better."

The Lobos and Chaps will conclude the three-game Lone Star Conference series on Sunday, with game three scheduled for a 1:00 PM first pitch at Hays Field and the City Bank Clubhouse in Lubbock, Texas.
