Alpine, Texas – Sul Ross State University Women's Basketball (1–9, LSC 0–4) hosted Eastern New Mexico University (8–4, LSC 4–0) Friday evening in Alpine, Texas at the Pete P. Gallego Center. The Lobos fell 101–58 to the Greyhounds.
Sul Ross was led by a balanced effort as multiple Lobos contributed across the stat sheet while continuing to compete throughout the night. The Lobos played with consistent effort and determination, looking to build momentum and carry positives forward. Victoria Aguayo added two steals in the contest, pushing her career total to 201 steals and making her just the second player in program history to surpass the 200-steal mark.
Sul Ross returns to action on Sunday, January 4, when the Lobos host West Texas A&M University with a 1:00 PM tipoff at the Pete P. Gallego Center in Alpine, Texas.
