Sul Ross State Head Coach Xavier Webb
"When the going gets tough the tough get going. Proud of the guys. We had guys step up and battle together through the ups and downs. Been close in a lot of games in the most brutal stretch of conference games (top 5 toughest schedule in D2). Good to pull one out with all the adversity we have been going through. This was for our boy Manny! The crowd was electric and the Gallego Goons had that place jumping!! Viva Los Lobos!"

For Sul Ross State, junior Tim Mikhailov scored 19 points with five 3-pointers and Moncrief had 15 points with three treys.  Off the bench,  Junior Ernests Locmelis and Yosia combined for 22 points and were 6-of-10 on triples.
