ALPINE, Texas – Four players scored in double-figures as the Sul Ross State University men's basketball team (2-16 Lone Star Conference, 3-20) lost 93-66 to West Texas A&M (10-8 LSC, 15-9), Thursday night at the Pete P. Gallego Center.

West Texas A&M had a 12-2 run over the first four minutes of the game to effectively seal it.

For Sul Ross State, seniors Ethan Yancy had 17 points with five assists, Cailean Ables scored 11 points, Cam Clardy had 10 points and seven assists and Tyler Jackson scored 10 points.

For West Texas A&M, Ahamed Mohammed scored 25 points.

Sul Ross State finishes the home season, Saturday, Feb. 15, against Eastern New Mexico.  The game is scheduled to start at 3:00 p.m.
