Lobos Show Fight in Road Test at St. Mary’s

San Antonio, Texas — Sul Ross State University Women's Basketball (1–5, LSC 0–2) lost 50–64 to St. Mary's University Texas (7–0, LSC 2–0) Saturday on the road at Bill Greehey Arena - San Antonio, TX.

Leslie Mojica filled the stat sheet with 10 points, six rebounds, three assists and a team-high five steals, battling for 37 minutes and sparking several defensive swings. Sophiya Bustillos also delivered a steady performance, posting 10 points, five rebounds, and a three-pointer in each half, helping fuel Sul Ross's 22-point fourth-quarter push. The Lobos showed resilience, improved ball movement, and defensive activity as they continue building through Lone Star Conference play.

The Lobos now enter a well-timed week of rest before returning home on Tuesday, December 16, for a 5:00 PM matchup against McMurry University.
