Lobos See Rattlers Slip Away

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Sul Ross State University men's basketball team (2-3) lost 85-44 to #13 St. Mary's (Texas) (5-0), Wednesday afternoon at Bill Greehey Arena.

St. Mary's jumped out to an 18-4 lead after eight minutes to effectively seal the game.

For Sul Ross State, junior Camren Roper had 10 points and five steals while senior Manny Flores scored nine points.

For St. Mary's, Michael Grant had 15 points and eight rebounds.

Sul Ross State remains on the road, Thursday, Dec. 4, taking on St. Edward's.  The game is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.
