SHREVEPORT, La. — Trailing 2-1 late in the second half, the Sul Ross State men's soccer team got a goal in the 88th minute to come away with the 2-2 draw against the Mississippi University for Women Owls on Sunday afternoon at Mayo Field.
>> HOW IT HAPPENED:
In the first five minutes,
Pablo Herrera scored a goal off an assist by
Angel Lugo to put Sul Ross State ahead.
The Owls answered back quickly, nearly a minute later, with a goal.
Sul Ross State tallied 10 shots from that point on as the score remained tied 1-1 at the break.
Mississippi University went ahead 2-1 in the second half during the 63rd minute.
On an assist from
David Dominguez,
Jair Moreno evened up the game for Lobos, late in the second half.

- Herrera tallied five shots, with three coming at the goal.
- Justin Quinonez had five shots, four shots on the mark.
- Lugo also tallied five shots.
