>> WHAT THE COACH SAID:
"It was a good game to get everyone in. It was a good game where we got to clean up some things to get ready for two tough matchups in Abilene. McMurry can score a lot in bunches and Hardin-Simmons is solid all the way around. We get the opportunity of getting one more practice here in the 'Pine and hitting the road and getting after it again." —
Head coach Xavier Webb
>> PLAYER INTERVIEWS:
"It looked good out there. Everybody — first group, second group — got to do their job. Everybody got to play. That's always a good feeling for the whole team." —
Tyler Jackson
"It's a big difference between UT-Dallas and today's game. Today we were able to get everyone involved and it was a good energy booster, getting us ready for McMurry. We were able to get what we wanted. We were able to run our offense smoothly. Out of my three years, this is probably the best team we've had. We have a lot of height, a lot of guards. We have guys that may not play a lot, but we know if we need them they'll be able to come in and step up when we need them to." —
Omar Ibarra
