For the next two weeks, the Sul Ross State football will be on the road to take on Austin College and No. 22 Mary Hardin-Baylor.
This week, the Lobos will look to keep their winning streak intact as they head to Sherman, Texas.

The series began in 1976 as both programs met for 29 straight years.
After the 2005 meeting, the series took a 16-year hiatus before being revitalized in 2021.
Sul Ross State won the first meeting, 22-19.
The Lobos are 20-23-2 all-time against Austin College.
Last season, Sul Ross State snapped a two-game losing skid to the Kangaroos with a dominating 55-14 win where former quarterback
T.J. DeShields tossed seven touchdowns.

Austin College started the season 0-2 with losses to Nebraska Wesleyan and Rhodes College.
The Kangaroos then notched their first win of the year over Crown College on the road in St. Bonifacius, Minn. The offense tallied 510 total yards in the 34-23 win.
Last week, Austin College suffered a 35-7 loss to East Texas Baptist University.
Quarterback Peyton Keily and Jaylon Talton have split time under center.
Keily has 535 passing yards and two touchdowns while he has completed 33 of 67 passes.
Last time out, Talton completed 12 of 27 passes for 109 yards. He has 201 passing yards and two touchdowns this season.
Running back
Christian Johnson has a team-high 162 yards on 49 carries and is the seventh-best rusher in the American Southwest Conference.
Leading the receiving corps is Dakota Lowery with 249 yards on 12 receptions and two touchdowns.
Austin College's offense has compiled 1,180 yards and six touchdowns to rank eighth in the ASC.
Linebacker Colton Gerken has a team-high 39 total tackles, two interceptions and 25 solo tackles.

Sul Ross State has a chance to extend its winning streak to three games, which hasn't been done since 2016.
So, how about that freshman kicker?
Carlos Arreola was named ASC Co-Special Teams Player of the Week after he made three field goals which included the game-winning 38-yard field goal that lifted Sul Ross State over Texas Lutheran, 37-34.
This is the second straight time he has been recognized as an ASC Player of the Week.
He ranks sixth in the ASC in scoring with 26 points. So far, Arreola has made five field goals and converted 11 extra point attempts.
The Clint High School grad is one of four kickers in the conference to sport a perfect field goal percentage.
His 46-yard field goal made against Wayland Baptist back on Sept. 16 is the longest kick made in the conference.
He is one of 15 kickers in NCAA Division III that has been flawless in field goal percentage.
Arreola became the first Lobo to earn special teams honors from the ASC since former kicker
Jaden Brown was recognized on Oct. 21, 2019.
The last time a Lobo earned back-to-back player of the week honors from the ASC was
T.J. DeShields in October 2022.
Punter Christopher Ruiz ranks third in the conference with 17 punts for 637 yards. He has had four punts land inside the 20-yard line and two punts go over 50 yards.
Ruiz had a 64-yard punt against Wayland Baptist that is tied for the second longest punt in the ASC.
Quarterback
Andrew Martinez continues to be the conference's best with 1,033 passing yards and nine touchdowns.
Martinez also leads the conference in total offense with 1,106 yards.
The Lobos rank third in the ASC in passing yards and fifth in total offense.
Rodd Hudson III ranks sixth in the ASC with 188 rushing yards on 64 carries while receiver
Isaiah Pena ranks third with 373 yards on 21 receptions.
Linebacker
Jade Rios still reigns supreme in the conference with 47 total tackles and 30 solo tackles.
Quincy Blair's 55-yard interception return for a touchdown against Texas Lutheran this is the longest interception returned for a touchdown in the ASC.
The four interceptions grabbed by Sul Ross State against Texas Lutheran is now tied for the conference-lead.
Sul Ross State leads the ASC in interceptions returned for a touchdown, which happened against Texas Lutheran.
Vernon Hartfield Jr. had a 30-yard return for a touchdown.
