ALPINE, Texas - Baseball completed a series sweep of the LeTourneau Yellowjackets with an 11-10 win on Saturday at Kokernot Field.

Bobby Mesker. "The best thing is we've been able to learn something through each loss as well as the wins. Winning those one-run games isn't by chance, it's who these guys are."
Tristan Karels came around to score on a throwing error for the first run of the game.
Tye Lindsey then reached on a fielding error that scored
Jared Lorenz for a 2-0 advantage after one.
Still 2-0 in the third, Karels hit a sacrifice fly to center to score
Jared Roiz for a 3-0 advantage. Lorenz then doubled home
Jorge Marquez before
Carsen Thor later doubled in Lorenz for a 5-0 lead after the third.
LETU answered back in the top of the fourth with back-to-back home runs to make it a 5-2 game.
It stayed 5-2 until Roiz plated
Orlando Moreno on a groundout to second for a 6-2 advantage after six.
The Yellowjackets chipped away with two in the top of the seventh for a 6-4 score.
Lindsey singled across Karels in the seventh before he later scored on a throwing error for an 8-4 lead.
Peyten Kennard made it 9-4 with a single to score Moreno for a five-run lead going to the eighth.
LETU got one back in the eighth for a 9-5 score.
Marquez and Lorenz added a pair of solo home runs in the bottom of the eighth for an 11-5 lead heading to the ninth.
The Yellowjackets made it a game with four runs in the top of the ninth.
Zack Gutierrez notched his first save after Kennard cut down the tying run at second on a caught stealing for the 11-10 win.
Lorenz finished 3-for-4 with three runs scored and two RBI.
Kennard and Marquez each added a pair of hits.
The Lobos improve to 7-2 on the season and in conference. LETU falls to 3-10 and 1-8.
Sully next hosts Texas Lutheran for a non-conference series starting Friday, March 4 at Kokernot Field.
