Ivett Ramos was recognized with 12 other women's cross country runners on the 2021 American Southwest Conference Runners to Watch list.

Ramos led the Lobos to team-best finishes in each of her three races this past season.

She began the season with a seventh place finish out of 39 runners on January 30 in Austin with a time of 25:31.5 and 4:15 per kilometer.

Ramos followed that by finishing fourth out of 42 runners in a time of 24:48.3 and 6:39.2 per mile on February 6 in Abilene.

The ASC Championships came next on March 3 in Round Rock, and Ramos shined with a season-best time of 24:26.4 and an average mile of 6:33.3 for a fifth place finish out of 46 finishers. The personal best was 21.9 seconds faster than her previous best in Abilene.

Ramos was also a 2020-2021 All-Conference selection.

Women's cross country begins their Fall 2021 season on September 1 in Round Rock for Concordia's Tornado Watch Invitational.
