ALPINE, Texas -
Isaac Aleman put an exclamation point on baseball's Saturday doubleheader with a three-run walk-off home run for a 3-2 win in game two after the Lobos won 3-1 in game one against Howard Payne.

Game One: Lobos 3 - Yellow Jackets 1 (7 innings)
Isaac Aleman got things going for the Lobos with a single in the bottom of the second to plate
Richard Bailey for a 1-0 advantage.
Ashton Leech extended the lead with a sacrifice fly to score
Matthew Wheeler to make it 2-0 after two.
Aleman came in to score in the bottom of the fourth thanks to an RBI single from
Jorge Marquez to move go ahead 3-0.
Howard Payne was able to get one back in the bottom of the sixth, but a pop out and a strikeout would end the rally there as
Sam Russell went all seven innings with six strikeouts to pick up his fourth win of the year in a 3-1 game one victory.
Wheeler and Aleman led the way with two hits each and both scored.
Game Two: Lobos 3 - Yellow Jackets 2
Game two proved to be a pitcher's duel between
Isaiah Moya and Xavier Haines that saw a 0-0 score through eight innings.
Howard Payne was able to score two to jump out to a 2-0 lead going to the bottom of the ninth.
Bailey kept the Lobos alive with a double down the left field line with two outs.
Jett Hartley was then hit by a pitch to bring the winning run to the plate. Aleman would prove to be the difference and hit a walk-off home run to left field to give Sul Ross the 3-2 win.
Isaiah Moya got the starting nod for the Lobos and went 8.1 innings with nine strikeouts in his final start as a Lobo.
Cade Watson picked up his third win of the season after retiring two batters in relief of Russell.
Sul Ross improves to 14-18 (11-15 ASC) and will look to sweep the series with an 11:00 a.m. start on Sunday.
