Jorge Marquez muscled a pair of home runs and had a game-high five runs batted in on Saturday, but the Lobos were outpaced by Concordia in an 18-7 loss.
Concordia scored two in the top of the first before
Jorge Marquez crushed a home run to left center to plate
Ashton Leech for a 2-2 tie after one.
The Tornados offense went on to score the next 10 runs between the second and fifth innings for a 12-2 lead.
Carsen Thor stepped in bottom five and sent a home run over the center field wall to bring home Leech for a 12-4 score.
Concordia answered back in the top of the sixth with four runs to take a 16-4 lead that went to the seventh.
After a scoreless top of the seventh, Marquez stepped in with two on and sent his second home run of the game right center field to cut it to 16-7.
Jalen Benton and Leech came around to score on the three-run shot.
The Tornados scored a pair of runs in the top of the eighth before holding the Lobos scoreless in the bottom of the inning to take it 18-7 in eight innings.
Marquez finished 2-for-4 with two home runs, a game-high five runs batted in, and two runs scored.
Thor also had a pair of hits, two runs batted in and a run scored.
Leech was tied for a game-high three runs scored and walked a game-high three times.
The Lobos fall to 9-18 (6-15 ASC). Concordia moves to 14-9 (11-7 ASC).
Sully next heads to Abilene for the start of a three-game set with McMurry on Friday, April 23.
