SEGUIN, Texas - Men's hoops trailed once in a 58-51 road win on Wednesday over Texas Lutheran.

Xavier Webb. "I'd like to see us limit our turnovers, but we did a very good job controlling the glass. We had some guys step up with
Trey Nelson sitting out. There are still things we need to clean up and get more consistent with, but Willie said it best...'on the road again.' ''
First Half
Larry Morrison began the game with a layup before TLU took their first advantage with a triple for a 3-2 lead.
Julian Paredes put up the next five and
Daveone Bass finished the 7-0 run with a layup for a 9-3 advantage. Sully's largest lead of the first came after an 8-0 run with four from
Logan Dixon, two from Bass and two from
Mitchell Martinez for a 23-13 lead. The Bulldogs cut it to two late, but Paredes finished the first half with a jumper for a 29-25 score at the half.
Second Half
TLU cut it back to one early, but
CJ Jemison hit a layup and a jumper for a 36-31 advantage. Jemison later added four to a 7-0 run for a 43-32 lead with just under 10 minutes left. The Bulldogs cut it to three twice, but the Lobos finished the final two minutes on an 8-4 run for the 58-51 win.
Paredes finished with a game-high 21 points on 10-of-17 shooting and matched
Eli Gonzalez for a team-high six rebounds.
Dixon, Martinez and Jemison each scored eight points. Martinez had five boards.
Sully improves to 3-2 on the season. The Bulldogs fall to 1-4.
The Lobos next travel to Colorado Springs, CO on Friday, November 26 to play Colorado College.
