Annika Canaba notched her fifth triple-double of the season on Tuesday night in a 3-0 sweep over University of Southwest at the Gallego Center.
"The team did well last night and I am very proud of them," said head coach
Troy Canaba. "We have been working on some new stuff and they have adjusted and done well with it. Our back row passers and defense have really stepped up the last couple of games."

Set 1:
Sully trailed 1-0 before a pair of kills from
Daniella Garcia and one from
Loren Garcia made it 3-1.
USW retook the lead with a 3-0 answer and led again at 5-4 before
Daniella Garcia and
Mia Bella Ruiz supplied kills for a 6-5 advantage.
The Mustangs used a 7-3 run to lead 12-9 before a 9-1 run put the Lobos ahead 18-13.
Daniella Garcia added three more kills and
Loren Garcia had two.
Kamrynn Caruth finished the run with a service ace to lead by five.
Daniella Garcia put an end to the first set with back-to-back kills for a 25-19 win.
Set 2:
USW opened with the first two before kills from
Taryn Griner and
Loren Garcia tied it 2-2.
The Mustangs then took a 4-2 lead before the Lobos came back with a 3-0 answer that was capped by a
Faith Herrera ace for a 5-4 lead.

The Lobos finally put some distance on the scoreboard with a 5-0 run to lead 17-12. It saw a kill each from
Daniella Garcia,
Loren Garcia, Canaba, Griner and an ace from Caruth.
USW cut it to three with the next two before Sully finished with a 8-1 run for a 25-15 win in set two. Herrera added two more aces to go with two kills each from Canaba and
Loren Garcia.
Set 3:
Both sides held slim leads until the Mustangs used a 5-1 run for a 10-5 advantage.
Sully took their next lead with a 7-2 run to go up two.
Daniella Garcia and
Loren Garcia started the run with kills. Griner later added one before Canaba notched back-to-back kills. The run finished with a kill from Caruth for a 15-13 lead.
USW tied it with a 2-0 response but quickly trailed 18-15. Canaba added another kill and service ace for the three-point advantage.
The Lobos continued to hold a slim lead and solidified the sweep with back-to-back kills from
Victoria Flores to take it 25-22.
Canaba finished with 11 kills, 17 assists and 13 digs for her fifth triple-double of the season. She also added three aces.
Daniella Garcia led the game with 12 kills.
Loren Garcia was close behind with 10.
Caruth had a game-high 24 assists and added eight digs.
Herrera notched a game-best four aces and had 13 digs.
The Lobos improve to 10-6 on the season and remain 6-4 in conference play.
Sully next heads to Brownwood on Friday, October 8 for a 5:00 p.m. first serve against Howard Payne.
