SHERMAN- Volleyball swept the final day of the Austin College Invitational in Sherman with a 3-0 win over Paul Quinn College and a 3-2 thriller over host Austin College.

Sully defeated Paul Quinn by scores of 25-19, 25-15 and 25-16.
Annika Canaba accounted for the first five points of the match for the Lady Lobos on kills.
Set one saw four lead changes and a 10-8 Tigers lead before a 6-1 run capped by a kill by
Isabella Ruiz put the Lady Lobos up 14-11.
The Tigers would tie it one more time at 17-17 before an 8-2 run gave the Lady Lobos the 25-19 first set win.
Canaba led the charge with nine kills for the set.
The Lady Lobos trailed 3-2 early in set two, but a 5-0 run put them up 7-3 and they would never trail again.
Back to back service aces by
Stephanie Diaz increased Sully's lead to 11-5.
Another 4-0 run on three Tiger attack errors and a kill by Canaba gave the Lady Lobos a 19-10 advantage.
The largest lead of set two came on a
Jordan Scherer kill to finish a 3-0 run to make it 22-11.
A block by Canaba and
Kyleigh Mulanax closed set two for the Lady Lobos with a 25-15 win.
Set three would find the Lady Lobos trailing 1-0 until a 6-0 run gave them the lead for good.
The Tigers would get as close as three on two occasions, but the Lady Lobos would never look back in route to a 25-16 set three win and sweep.
Canaba led both sides with 15 kills.
Kyle Davis had a team-high 18 kills, Canaba had 14.
Hannah Zly was the only player with double digits with 13 digs.
SRSU 3 - AC 2
The Lady Lobos overcame 1-0 and 2-1 deficits to take sets four and five and win 3-2 over Austin College.
Scores were 16-25, 25-22, 21-25, 25-21 and 15-10.
The Lady Lobos got behind 6-1 early and could only bring it to within three in the 25-16 set one loss.
Set two saw Sully up 6-3 on a service ace by Canaba.
A 4-1 run finished capped by a Ruiz kill gave Sully a 10-4 lead.
The 'Roos closed the gap to 10-8 before a 5-2 lead put the Lady Lobos up 15-10.
Austin College fought back and retook the lead 20-19 in the later stages of set two.
Blocks by Ruiz and Mulanax put the Lady Lobos back ahead. Davis' service ace capped the 3-0 run for a 22-20 lead.
The Lady Lobos evened the match on an Austin College attack error for the 25-21 win.
Sully opened an early 8-3 lead in set three and held that lead until AC eventually tied the match 18-18.
The 'Roos finished the set on a 7-3 run and took it 25-21.
The first and only time the Lady Lobos trailed in set four was at the 3-2 mark.
The largest lead of the set came at 15-9 off a kill by Canaba.
Scherer's kill would even the match again with a 25-21 set four win.
Set five saw the 'Roos with an early 6-3 lead before the Lady Lobos stormed ahead on a 9-0 run to lead it 12-6.
A service error and bad set would setup Ruiz for the match clinching kill and a 15-10 win in set 5.
Canaba posted a triple double with 16 kills, 18 assists and 12 digs.
Davis posted a double double of 24 assists and 17 digs.
Others with double figure digs were Zly with a team-high 24, Ruiz and
Asher Haack with 17.
The Lady Lobos move to 7-2 on the year and will next travel to Austin Friday for a 7:00 p.m. match with Concordia.
