AUSTIN- After a scoreless first half, a 59th minute Tornado goal lifted them 1-0 over the Lobos Thursday night in Austin.
Concordia outpaced the Lobos 6-3 in shots in the first half, but both goalkeepers were able to play 45 minutes of shutout soccer.
Rodrigo Arellano's goal at 59:22 put the Tornados ahead 1-0.
Sully put three shots on goal for the game but were unable to score in the 1-0 loss.
Both of
Lorenzo Segura's shots were on goal and
Jesus Monreal put one of his two shots on goal.
Goalkeeper
Frank Rodriguez played the entire 90 minutes and saved two shots.
The Lobos fall to 3-5-2 on the season and 1-2-2 in ASC play. The Tornados move to 4-5-2 and 2-1-1.
Sully now heads to Belton Saturday for a 3:30 conference match against Mary Hardin-Baylor.
