ABILENE- McMurry University rallied from a one-goal deficit and defeated the Sul Ross Lobo men's soccer team in a 2-1 conference decision Thursday night in Abilene.
Sul Ross posted their lone goal in the first half as
Mauricio Perez scored on a chip shot with an assist by
Christopher Diaz at the 19th minute.
The Lobos would carry their 1-0 lead to the half before McMurry's Rafael Lara scored on a goalkeeper deflection at the 66:41 mark.
Lara struck again at 72:35 off a six-yard tapper with Jesus Gil supplying the assist as the home team prevailed for the 2-1 victory.

Frank Rodriguez totaled seven saves in the effort.
Sully falls to 0-4 on the season and begins ASC competition at 0-1. The War Hawks improve to 2-1-2 and 1-0.
The Lobo men will take on Hardin-Simmons University in a 7:30 p.m. nightcap Saturday in Abilene.
