ABILENE- McMurry University improved its season record to 17-3 and 7-2 in ASC play with a 3-0 sweep of visiting Sul Ross (4-11, 3-7) Saturday in Abilene.

Scores were 25-23, 25-17 and 25-20.

Jordan Scherer led the offensive effort with nine kills while Annika Canaba added eight.

Karigan Edwards and Kylee Davis notched 13 and 10 digs respectively while Edwards contributed 13 assists.

The Lady Lobos will face Louisiana College and Belhaven University October 12 in the opening round of the second ASC Crossover hosted by U.T. Dallas.
