ABILENE- Hardin-Simmons University (13-9, 9-4 ASC) defeated Sul Ross St. (3-21, 2-11 ASC) in a 3-0 ASC sweeping Friday in Abilene.

Sully will tangle with McMurry in a noon conference match Saturday at Kimbrell Arena.

Scores from Friday's match were 25-13, 25-13 and 25-19.

Nina Sterling supplied 11 assists in the contest while McKenna Thomas (Odessa/Permian) and Brittany Serrano (Marfa/MHS) paced the defense with 11 and 10 digs.
