Volleyball drops 3-0 decision to McMurry

ABILENE- Brittany Serrano (Marfa/MHS) led the effort with 10 kills as Sul Ross (3-22, 2-12 ASC) dropped a 3-0 conference match to host McMurry (16-8, 9-5 ASC) Saturday.

The Lady Lobos will close out the season next weekend at the three-match Bulldog Classic hosted by Texas Lutheran University.

Sul Ross will face Concordia in a non-conference match on October 28 before tangling with Birmingham-Southern College and tournament host Texas Lutheran October 29.

Scores from Saturday were 25-18, 25-19 and 25-21.

Nina Sterling (San Marcos/SMHS) and Kayla LaRue (Kingwood/Porter) contributed 13 and 11 assists respectively.

McKenna Thomas (Odessa/Permian) added 11 digs to lead the defense.
