Sydney McCallister joined the Sul Ross staff in August, 2018 as head cross country and assistant softball coach.
McCallister was a standout athlete at Alpine High School where she was a three-time All-State honoree in softball. She also received All-State recognition in volleyball and was a member of the 2012 softball state runner-up team.
McCallister received her Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Texas at Austin in August, 2018.
She worked with the U.T. softball team for four seasons as a student-manager.
McCallister completed internships with the University of Texas Athletic Performance program working primarily with the volleyball team and Train 4 The Game.
