Guadalupe Cordova

A native of El Paso, Guadalupe Cordova attended Canutillo High School and received numerous ecognitions as an athlete. As a starter all four years of her high school career, Cordova was known as a utility player in women’s soccer. In addition, Cordova was named second-team all-district her freshman year and first team all-district the remaining three years of high school. Cordova was also awarded offensive MVP all-district her senior year at Canutillo.

Cordova is now a former graduate from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin, where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology in May, 2019. In addition, she is a former collegiate athlete, and played at both NJCAA and NCAA Division II schools over the past four years. At Navarro College, she played both defender and defensive midfielder. During the season, Navarro women’s soccer was ranked #5 in the NJCAA Women’s Soccer Division I ranking throughout the year.  

At UTPB, she played as a midfielder and starting defense during her two years with the program. Achieving an award in the Lone Star Conference fall commissioner’s honor roll for three years in a row.
