Senior running back Dominique Carson has played four seasons with the Lobos. He played from 2008-2009 and then 2011-2012. This season, Carson broke 8 school records. He also tied an NCAA record scoring 8 touchdowns in game against Texas Lutheran.  Carson is the all-time leading rusher in yards in a single game with 319 and in a season with 1,321. He is also the all-time leading scorer in touchdowns and points in a single game (8/48), season (28/170), and career (47/264). Carson was selected as the 2012 American Southwest Conference Offensive Player of the Year and received All-Conference First Team honors. This season, he was ASC Offensive Player of the Week three times and made D3Sports Team of the Week three times as well.
