Assistant Defensive Line Coach

Andy Rivera is in his third year as an assistant coach with Sul Ross State football. He served as an offensive line assistant coach in 2023, assistant on the defensive line in 2024 and will be back on the offensive line as an assistant in 2025. Rivera is the Graphic Design and Social Media Coordinator for the program.

Rivera played for the Lobos in 2022 before joining the coaching staff. He will be graduating this fall with a B.S in Kinesiology Exercise Science.

A native of Cibolo, Texas, Rivera resides in Alpine.
