Lobos Are Away And Home

ALPINE, Texas – It's a pair of games this week for the Sul Ross State University women's soccer team (0-3-1 Lone Star Conference, 0-5-2) this week.

SCHEDULE

Sept. 23 – at Oklahoma Christian (1-2 LSC, 4-3) – 12:00 p.m.
The Eagles are coming off a 1-0 victory over St. Edward's. Caid Jefferson leads the team with three goals. OCU leads the series 2-0.

Sept. 26 – West Texas A&M (0-3-1 LSC, 1-5-2) – 11:00 a.m.
West Texas A&M is coming off a 2-0 loss to St. Edward's (Sept. 19). The Lady Buffs lead the series 2-0.

RANKINGS
Sul Ross State leads the Lone Star Conference in four categories. As a team, the Lobos have 71 saves and averaged 10.14 per game. Individually, Kat Graves has 67 total saves for 9.57 per game.

At the NCAA DII level, SRSU is fourth in saves per game while Graves is second in total saves and fourth in saves per game.

LAST WEEK
Everything was left on the field as Sul Ross State battled Lubbock Christian to a 0-0 tie, Sept. 16 at Lobo Soccer Field.

Sul Ross State had 13 shots with 10 on goal and were called for nine fouls. Kat Graves finished with six saves.

It was 90 minutes of heart and hustle as Sul Ross State lost 2-0 to #16 Texas Woman's, Sept. 19 at Pioneer Soccer Park.

Graves finished with a career-high 12 saves.
