Lobos Close Home Schedule on Senior Day

Alpine, Texas – Sul Ross State University Women's Basketball (3-20, LSC 2-15) hosted St. Edward's University (14-13, LSC 8-11) Saturday afternoon at the Pete P. Gallego Center, celebrating Senior Day in a Lone Star Conference matchup. The Hilltoppers earned a 77–57 victory over the Lobos.

Sul Ross was led offensively by Leslie Mojica, who paced the Lobos with 15 points on 5-of-10 shooting while adding five rebounds and two steals. Sophiya Bustillos followed with 11 points and five rebounds, providing steady production throughout the afternoon for Sul Ross. As a team, the Lobos continued to compete with energy and resilience, battling for all four quarters and showing their commitment to one another on Senior Day.

The Lobos hit the road to conclude the Sul Ross State Women's Basketball season with Lone Star Conference matchups, beginning Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 5:30 PM against UT Dallas in Richardson, Texas, followed by a 5:30 PM contest Thursday, Feb. 26, against Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas, before closing the season Saturday, Feb. 28, with a 1:00 PM tipoff at Lubbock Christian University in Lubbock, Texas.
