Alpine, Texas – Sul Ross State University (3-19, LSC 2-14) hosted St. Mary's (TX) University (14-9, LSC 9-8) Thursday evening at the Pete P. Gallego Center. The Rattlers earned a 64–43 victory over the Lobos in the Lone Star Conference matchup.
Sul Ross was led by Emma Schumacher, who paced the Lobos with 12 points, adding six rebounds and four steals in 30 minutes of action. Victoria Aguayo followed closely with 11 points, while contributing four steals and an assist, continuing to anchor Sul Ross on both ends of the floor. Despite the result, the Lobos continued to compete with energy and defensive effort throughout the night, showing resilience and togetherness as a team against a tough Lone Star Conference opponent.
