ALPINE, Texas – Junior Libby Foster was in double-figures for kills as the Sul Ross State University volleyball team (1-14 LSC, 1-24) lost 3-0 (25-17, 27-25, 25-17) to Western New Mexico (8-7 LSC, 14-2), Saturday afternoon at the Pete P. Gallego Center.

In the first set, Sul Ross State and Western New Mexico battled back-and-forth in the early going.

The Lobos forced an error to close the gap to 13-12.  The Mustangs went on a 5-2 run to take control.

In the second set, SRSU and WNMU again played a tactical game until 11-11.  Western New Mexico put on a 7-4 burst to look to be in control at 18-14.
