Lobos Push Through Conference Road Test

Tyler, Texas - Sul Ross State University Women's Basketball (1–12, LSC 0–7) traveled to Tyler, Texas Saturday afternoon for a Lone Star Conference matchup against University of Texas at Tyler (10–6, LSC 6–1) at Herrington Patriot Center. The Patriots won the Lone Star Conference matchup, 66–38.

Sul Ross continued to compete with effort and resilience throughout the afternoon, battling on the glass and staying engaged on both ends of the floor. The Lobos showed positive stretches of ball movement and energy, highlighted by a strong third quarter and consistent pressure that created transition opportunities. Sul Ross leaned on team defense, rebounding effort, and bench contributions as the group continues to gain experience and build chemistry through Lone Star Conference play.

Sul Ross returns home to Alpine on Thursday, January 15, welcoming Oklahoma Christian University to the Pete P. Gallego Center for a Lone Star Conference matchup. Tipoff is set for 5:30 PM.
