Lobos See Lady Buffs Amble By

CANYON, Texas – The Sul Ross State University women's soccer team (0-4 Lone Star Conference, 1-7) lost 2-0 to West Texas A&M (1-2 LSC, 4-2-1), Saturday afternoon at The Pitch.

For nearly the first 18 minutes, Sul Ross State and West Texas A&M played a very patient game with just one shot total. 

At the 17:57 mark, the Lady Buffs managed to sneak one in.  WTAM added an insurance goal in the second half.

Junior Emmy Finlinson recorded six saves in the contest.

Sul Ross State returns home Wednesday, October 1, taking on Angelo State.  The game is scheduled to start at 3:00 p.m.
