Lobos Wrap Up Season On The Road

SILVER CITY, N.M. – Four players scored in double-figures as the Sul Ross State University men's basketball team (2-20 Lone Star Conference, 3-24) lost 82-68 to Western New Mexico (4-18 LSC, 5-24), Thursday night at Drag's Court.

Western New Mexico jumped out to a 12-2 lead after three minutes to effectively seal the game.

For Sul Ross State, senior Cam Clardy scored 22 points, senior Tyler Jackson had 15 points and shot 7-of-12 from the floor and junior Manny Flores had 11 points and two steals. Senior Cailean Ables scored 11 points off the bench.

For Western New Mexico, James McCallum had 20 points and 13 rebounds.

Sul Ross State has concluded the 2024-25 season.
