Sul Ross Adds Stanton Standout Kolie Madison to 2026 Class

Alpine, Texas - Sul Ross State University Women's Basketball is proud to announce the first signee of its 2026 class, 6'0" forward Kolie Madison from Stanton High School. As a standout junior, Madison averaged 18 points, 17 rebounds, 3.5 blocks, and two steals per game, establishing herself as one of the most dominant two-way players in her district. Her size, toughness, defensive presence, and scoring ability make her an exciting addition to the Lobos' future frontcourt as the program continues to strengthen its foundation.

Head Coach E.J. Lee Smith expressed her enthusiasm about Madison joining the program. "Kolie is a tremendous addition for us," Smith said. "Her length, toughness, and work ethic will make an immediate impact, and we're excited to help her grow here at Sul Ross." As the first member of the 2026 class, Madison sets the tone for a promising group to come.
