TUCSON, Ariz. — On the final day of the Tucson Invitational Games on Thursday morning, the Sul Ross State softball team suffered an 11-0 loss in five innings to the Eastern Connecticut State University Warriors at Lincoln Park.
>> HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Lobos were held to three hits.
Eastern Connecticut began the game with a 4-0 lead in the first after tallying five hits in the frame.
Ciera Avila hit a double in the bottom half of the first, but she was left stranded.
The Warriors added another run in the second on a sacrifice fly to center while they pushed across a run in the third on a single.
Eastern Connecticut rallied for five runs on three hits in the top of the fifth to end the game early.

- Avila finished 1 for 2 with the double.
- Madison Hodges tallied two singles in the second and fourth to finish 2 for 2.
