The first-ever NCAA Division II recruiting class at Sul Ross State has been announced.
 
A total of 57 players representing Texas, New Mexico, Florida, Colorado and California signed with the Lobo football program during National Signing Day.
 
The Lobos added more depth at every position with an athletic and explosive group of players.
 
There are 28 offensive prospects and 28 defensive prospects that make up the class.

"We signed some great talent for our freshmen class who will be giving us the opportunity to compete at the Lone Star Conference. Switching from Division III to Division II right after the season was an obstacle because we couldn't move until right after the last game. Our coaches overcame a lot of adversity in bringing this class home. So, a lot of credit goes to them along with being proud of our staff's effort in the signing class. I also want to give a shout out to our administration and faculty for helping with our recruiting visits that made it a first-class experience.
